Proposal for a European tender from the Erasmus Medical Centre in Rotterdam.

An installation of chairs that are rising on high legs above different scenarios of sea level rise.

 

These sculptures, made from recycled bronze and an alloy of metals from technological waste, frozen in time will age over the years and show future viewers that there were choices to be made about how much the earth will warm up. Watching the work makes you wonder; what future we have?
